The General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Kumuyi has revealed the seven-wonder sayings of Jesus at the cross during His crucifixion.
Speaking on “the seven wonder-working sayings of Christ on the cross”, the man of God said Christ uttered some powerful words on the cross which he said has had power, impact and yoke-breaking effect on generation after generations till Christ comes again.
The man of God who made this known during the ongoing Global Crusade at Ibom Hall ground, said Christ came to take punishment of those who have sinned so that they might be free.
“Whatever you have done wrong to the Lord, maybe you have scorned, scoffed, and made fun of Him or His followers, it is best for you to come to Him for forgiveness and pardon because He has already made supplication for you and the Father will not overlook or deny the prayer of His Son for us.
“Whatever you have done: the lies, the hypocrisy you manifested, and all the sins you committed in ignorance, as you come to ask for forgiveness, you will be pardoned because He already settled everything with the Father.
“What is left for you is to come to Him in the strength of this supplication, and the wonder of salvation, regeneration and becoming a new creature will manifest in your life.
“Beg the Father for mercy because you did everything in ignorance now that you know that every wrong you did will attract punishment and judgement. In Christ we have redemption through His sympathy and supplication.”
Pastor Kumuyi pointed out the seven wonder-working sayings of Christ on the Cross to include; “My God, my God, why has Thou forsaken me!?”, “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do”, “Verily I say unto thee, today shalt thou be with me in Paradise”, “Father, into Thy hands I commend my spirit”, “Behold thy mother!”, “I thirst” and “It is finished”.
